The key to successful telecommuting is good communication, especially between telecommuters, managers and coworkers. Since your manager is no longer going to be able to just drop by your desk and you won't be running into coworkers in the hallway, communication on telecommuting days needs to be electronic. Some ways of keeping in touch on telecommuting days are:
person-to-person phone calls email
audio-conference calls faxes
voicemail pager

There are advantages and disadvantages to each of these kinds of communication. On the next screens are a series of True and False statements about communicating that will point out the advantages and disadvantages of some of these. Read each statement and decide whether the statement is True or False.
