You'll
need to plan ahead to make sure you take home the files and materials
you'll need on the days you telecommute and that you accomplish the
tasks you want to. Here are some tips, all of which are
"correct."
Have a place in your office (a box, basket or
carry-all bag) where during the week you can put things you'll
need on your telecommuting day(s).
Keep a list during the week of the tasks you'll accomplish on
your telecommuting day(s).
Prioritize your telecommuting "to do" list. If you're
working at home you'll find many distractions that can make you
feel the morning or whole day seemed to fly by. Divide tasks
into those considered "Critical" (your "A"
list), "Important" (B) and "Useful" (C.)
Make sure you complete the "A" tasks before going on
to the "Bs" and save the "C's" for last.
